Triumph Motorcycles has launched the updated 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS in India, priced at ₹20.39 lakh (ex-showroom). As Triumph’s flagship naked sportbike, the new model gets performance upgrades, smarter electronics, and enhanced ride dynamics, making it even more aggressive and rider-focused than before.
Here’s what’s new on the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS.
More Power from the Triple-Cylinder Engine
At the heart of the 2025 model is the familiar 1,160cc inline-triple engine, but Triumph has made it more potent. It now produces 183bhp and 128Nm, up by 3bhp and 3Nm from the previous version. The gain comes from a freer-flowing exhaust system that helps the engine breathe better and rev more freely.
Öhlins Smart EC3 Electronic Suspension
One of the biggest changes is the addition of Öhlins Smart EC3 semi-active suspension. Riders can now fine-tune suspension damping via the TFT display using Triumph’s Objective-Based Tuning Interface. This system adapts on the go for better comfort, control, and track-ready responsiveness.
New Tyres, Lighter Wheels, and Steering Damper
For 2025, Triumph has swapped out the old Metzelers for Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres, offering improved grip and feel. The bike also gets lighter alloy wheels and a revised steering damper, enhancing stability during fast cornering and improving agility in tight bends.
Refined Electronics and Ergonomics
The electronics suite gets a small but important tweak — wheelie control is now separate from traction control. Other features include cornering ABS, slide control, cruise control, and a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
Triumph has also raised the handlebar slightly and narrowed the fuel tank, giving riders better ergonomics and easier bike control.
Fresh Colours for 2025
The Speed Triple 1200 RS is available in three bold new shades:
- Jet Black
- Granite with Diablo Red
- Granite with Performance Yellow
The updates make the 2025 Speed 1200 RS sharper, smarter, and more engaging — perfect for riders who want performance without compromise.
